SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA – At the Vietnam – South Korea Business Forum on August 12, 2025, held in Seoul, CT Group made history by successfully signing two high-tech export contracts with South Korean partners. Record-Breaking Export of “Made in Vietnam” UAVs
Within the framework of the forum, CT Group officially signed a memorandum of understanding for the export of 5,000 unmanned cargo aerial vehicles (UAVs). This is the first time a Vietnamese enterprise has secured such a large-scale UAV contract from a market as technologically demanding as South Korea.
Manufactured by CT UAV, a subsidiary of CT Group, these UAVs boast 85% localization rate and advanced AI integration capabilities.

According to CT Group representatives, the UAVs will be deployed for cargo transport, rescue operations, environmental monitoring, and smart agriculture, opening a new chapter in the frontier economy. Exporting UAVs at such scale not only brings significant economic value but also proves Vietnam’s mastery of core technology.
Semiconductor Export Milestone: Vietnam Joins the Global Tech Arena
Alongside UAVs, CT Group made global headlines with the export of 100 million semiconductors to its South Korean partner. The semiconductor industry is highly complex, traditionally dominated by a handful of developed nations. This achievement is not just an economic contract but a powerful statement of Vietnam’s rising position in the global technology supply chain.
